marketing novel

Tomorrow, Sunday, we’re working on marketing. Yeah, marketing! (This is all new to me.) I think a lot of coffee and cookies will be required. Thank you, New Deal Media. (Our publishing house — taking care of business.) (By “ours” I mean, Steve’s — my husband’s — and mine.)

Hope you are enjoying your spring. I planted a bunch of those little, miniature daffodils (narcissus?) all over the yard. They’re pretty, perky, precious… love ’em. The herbs all seemed to survive the winter, and the iris, lilies and asters are popping up. We had gorgeous sun here for a few days; it confused everyone and thrilled us at the same time. Now, back to rain. #iheartoregon.

Read a quote today from the New Yorker (old interview with the Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond). Writer Amanda Fortina (who also interviewed author Christopher Paolini for the Rolling Stone) sez that 14 percent of women who are online in the U.S. also have blogs. Interesting, no? I wonder how many of them have been abandoned for Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr? Blog, instead. The archives are better.

Regards,

Nancy
